Among the companies fronting the dough for western celebrities to strut their stuff strutting their stuff, Nippon Lever must lead the pack. At least 10 on the Japander list have done ads for this company. These particular ads date back to the early/mid 90s. After Charlize Theron won the best actress Oscar this year, Nippon Lever wasable to count at least two spokespeople they've had as Oscar winners.

The clip to the left was kindly donated to japander.com It's an ad for an aprtment complex that goes for rent fully furnished and rents are paid by the week. These complexes usually have the Japanese "salarymen" who have been transferred away from their families in mind. The ad probably dates back to the 1980s but we have no way of confirming that.
